Hi Karen
I have cirrhosis/Alcoholic type. No vareices but I keep having wine !! What is wrong with me I know better. I do everything right exercise 3-4 Miles walk/hike, Pilates. Vegetarian, but the wine always wins. Any suggestions ? I do have a Phycologist 🙂 I was diagnosed almost 6 years ago !
Congrats on all of your healthy living choices. I’ve got a Pilates stool, and that is some HARD work! I think that seeing a mental health expert is wise too. So many just ignore their thought processes and push through life without tweaking their mental health.
Suggestions… My experience was to be a lifelong tee-totaler. My dad drank, native americans in general had a hard time with corn liquor once it was introduced to them. I could be that you’re using it as a way to relax, or maybe blur the filter of the day. I get that. Life is hard. As I’m writing this, I am outlining a blog in my head. I realize how complex of a problem it is to enjoy a glass of wine.
Watch for an entire blog devoted to this topic. I’ve got a LOT of thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and for asking a question that MANY need an answer to.
Sending Hugs,
xo Karen
