Karen, I am so thankful I found you! I love to cook and even more love to eat! I was just diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure 2 weeks ago, and have changed my whole lifestyle. You are my new inspiration! Thank you for all your ideas and helps!
Hello there! Welcome. I don’t know if you have seen all of Karen’s suggestions so thought I would give you a link to all of her “Liver Loving Recipes” The heart diet is also good. The main thing to do is to follow doctors directions, reduce salt as low as you can. My Mom was able to clear a blockage in her heart by going on what is called “The Rice Diet” it has nothing to do with rice. She lost weight, was able to get rid of the blockage. It was not easy but she did it and felt great! A few years later while undergoing surgery, there was concern for her heart but the doctor said she did great. Not a thing wrong
Are you on diuretics? A friend of mine was suffering from congestive heart failure her left ventricle was not pumping hard enough, 25% out of 50%. The heart doctor suggested she try to stop drinking alcohol. She did and now her heart is much improved, after only 2 weeks.
Good luck to you! Keep in touch!
