Depression with Hepatitis C and Cirrhosis

Depression with Hepatitis C and Cirrhosis

break out depression hepatitis c

I have had a big case of the blues lately. It is a heaviness hanging over me that follows me around all day. Cirrhosis of the liver is no walk in the park. If I eat the wrong thing, run into allergy problems, or lose too much sleep it takes me a while to recover. It weakens me mentally and physically especially with brain fog. Depression with Hepatitis C and Cirrhosis can creep in. I look for ways to break out of it.

Breaking Out brings an image to me of a big plastic dome. We feel stuck under it. We can see what is going on all around us, hear people talking, music, and all  of life, but it is distorted under our plastic dome. I’ve got some tips about getting out, making love, and bustin’ a move.

Sometimes the dome is an insulation against the real world. You know, the world where everybody else is happy and fine. We bang against the sides to break out, but no one can hear or understand. We may have PTSD from it all.depressed dome hep c

Break Out

Wanna know how I break out of crying jags and depression with Hepatitis C or cirrhosis?

Get dressed and go outside.

Give yourself a pedicure.

Have Sex with or without a partner. You’ll feel better.

Do something silly. I recently tried to start a Flash Mob at the mall and my granddaughters ran from me. Oh well, lots of laughter anyway.

Try meditation with me.

Keep a craft box with markers and paper, scissors, and glue. Sticky notes are fun too.

Proudly post your I AM statements on the ice box door. Read them aloud!

Make a Walmart run.

Get on a dating website.

Turn on the song by Swing Out Sister called Break Out? It has been my theme song many times and always helps me get jiggedy.

You can tell by my diet and lifestyle advice that I put every effort into turning this diagnosis around. The time has come to make or break. Break out!

This means I will stop at nothing.  Even when the plastic dome has me trapped, I will bust it down instead of being a victim.  Watch my videos for a good laugh or a workout.

In the end fake it til you make it can work

I do not know where you are today. Maybe you are sitting in your dome and had nothing but bad news. I want to come climb in your dome and hug you. I will do a happy dance with you. I am sure you know by now that you are not alone in your depression.

Remember:  It is a state of mind. It is NOT who you are. It is like that clear dome. It is just covering you during this specific situation. Ya wanna break out?  Xo Karen:)  This is for you who are feeling blue. xo Karen

Break Out Lyrics

When explanations make no sense.
When every answer’s wrong.
You’re fighting with lost confidence.
All expectations gone.

The time has come to make or break.
Move on don’t hesitate.
Breakout!
(Chorus)

Don’t stop to ask.
Now you’ve found a break to make at las.t
You’ve got to find a way.
Say what you want to say.
Breakout!

When situations never change.
Tomorrow looks unsure.
Don’t leave your destiny to chance.
What are you waiting for?
The time has come to make your break.
Breakout!

Some people stop at nothing.
If you’re searching for something,
Lay down the law.
Shout out for more.
Breakout and shout day in day out.
Breakout!
